Hello everyone. :)
My name is Rod, other wise know as victory_red_SS on several different Cobalt forums and one Corvette forum.
I am the person who embarked on the simple journey of trying to squeeze a bit more power out of my 2005, SS/SC, Cobalt.
If you are one of the many you have followed the project over the, almost, past 3 years, then you know it has not been so simple as it was supposed to be.
It was due to the problems that I have encountered that this website was created.
I will be adding new updates, to the status of the project, as they become available.
I am encouraged by the new companies involved in the completion of the project. Because of these companies' involvement, I hope to have good news to report soon.
The current news is that there should be a comprehensive plan for the project by May 15th. At that time we will decide the best and most cost effective way to bring this project to a successful finish. The good thing is that once the actual work starts, it will move along steadily and the expectation is that this car will see track duty this year.
While something will definitely be different from the original plan, such as the LS2 instead of the LSJ, this car will still be a car ready for either the street and the drag strip.
Stay tuned to more news as it becomes available. For those who sign up, we will be starting up a newsletter to keep everyone informed.
Rod :)
